The planet Gallata, light-years from Earth, is home to a peaceful, scientifically advanced matriarchy, home to people who have the ability to share images and emotions by telepathy. A life-long activist for peace and justice, Mona Lee was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri. She majored in English at St. Louis Unitersity and later earned a Master's Degree in counseling psychology from the University of Oregon. She has worked as a counselor in both the United States and Germany. Mona Lee lives in Seattle, Washington, where she recently retired from her work as a vocational counselor for people with disabilities. She is heavily involved in neighborhood community planning and with global justice issues.
