Dr. Charles "Chuck" Taylor is the author and/or editor of eight books. He has served as a national consultant to dozens of colleges and universities in the area of diversity and multicultural education. Chuck holds a master's degree in education from the University of Oregon and a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He participates regularly in Juneteenth celebrations and believes passionately in the need to preserve African-American cultural legacies. An educator for most of his professional career, Dr. Taylor has also been an entrepreneur, a documentary filmmaker, and a leader in promoting multicultural publishing. As a proud grandfather, Chuck strongly encourages families to keep the spirit of Juneteenth alive.
